“SOLAR 2006” CONFERENCE IN DENVER, JULY 8 - 13:
“RENEWABLE ENERGY – KEY TO CLIMATE RECOVERY”

Climate change and increasing instability of energy supplies are in the news more and more. In an effort to showcase Renewable Energy as the key to both Climate Recovery and Energy Independence, the American Solar Energy Society will hold its “SOLAR 2006” Conference, July 8-13 at the Adams Mark Hotel in Downtown Denver, Colorado.

The ASES conference is America’s largest and most prestigious annual gathering of sustainable energy professionals. Scheduled keynote speakers include Dr. James E. Hansen, NASA’s top climate scientist.
Other prominent experts in the fields of renewable energy and climate change are also confirmed to speak at SOLAR 2006, including:

  • Dan Arvizu, Director of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory
  • Dennis Dimick, Associate Editor of National Geographic magazine
  • Denis Hayes, Chair of the International Earth Day Network
  • Frank Kreith, ASME Fellow, and a pioneer in solar engineering & heat transfer

Thousands of distinguished attendees from all over the world (leading scientists, engineers, architects, designers, policymakers, educators, utility representatives, and other renewable energy decision-makers) will also attend the conference.
